What else can I say about Mr. Kane that hasn’t already been said? I can promise you my review is not fake in any way. From the moment I hired Mr. Kane he was very knowledgeable about NYC gun laws and immediately dropped my anxiety. I was facing some extremely tough punishment for what was a very simple misunderstanding of the local gun laws in NYC. Not only did he get the two charges against me completely dismissed , he was able to reduce it to a non-criminal charge and a moderate fine. I never even had to appear once in court! I live in Arizona so this saved me tons of money. His fees are very reasonable and he always answered my calls or emails with the utmost professionalism and respect. I hope to god I never have to hire him again but if I do I would not hesitate to.

He is really honest, down to earth, knowledgeable and kind as a person.He charges very minimal fee compared to other law firm. He deserves to be paid higher as he genuinely helps people without any bias and racists. I like the way he work professionally and deal with the people, especially needy low income people. After reading many criminal defense lawyer reviews online Luke Scardigno stood out. I decided to email him. He called back within hours. After speaking to him for only 15 minutes I knew I made the right choice. His warmth, friendliness and non-judgmental attitude won me over first. However, it was his empathetic professional breakdown of how he would handle my case that won me over. The final decision of my case was just as he predicted—A dismissal with a required class. Luke had a way of making me feel like I was his only client.(I'm sure he has many clients) I was afraid, anxious and stressed he gave me a sense of relief after each communication. I never knew I would end up needing a lawyer ever in my life until the day my previous toxic relationship ended in the result of domestic violence and me having to defend myself. I was extremely anxious and stressed and so I began looking and spoke to a few lawyers. Luke was the one I chose and I do not regret it. Since day one when we first met, he told me he would lower my felony to a misdemeanor. He told me he can see that I am not a bad person and that I deserved justice. The time came to finally see the judge on virtual camera (since the courts are closed because of the pandemic) and I was so thrilled and relieved to see that my case had indeed been passed down as a disorderly conduct! I couldn’t believe it! A day before my birthday too, this was the BEST birthday gift ever! Thank you so much Luke, you rock! And the best part is that he’s not in it for the money and he kept his promise as well. He’s very nice and easy going and his staff Mayrobi and Joan were great help too! First, Luke was recommended to me by an acquaintance. From my first discussion with him he was very knowledgeable of the law and my situation. Answered all questions I had regarding what needs to be done. My issue involved the police, so he reached out to whom ever he needed at the precinct and resolved my situation. I’ve been around the block more than a couple of times, not police involved but business disputes and sorts. This time I felt that from the get go that I had someone on my side, to resolve my predicament the best way possible. Btw, he did all of that on Memorial Day weekend which to me is mind boggling since every lawyer on the planet was on vacation. Simply put, if I could put six stars here I would!!

I have had only the best experiences with Rochelle. Very empathetic and compassionate when things are stressful and my legal outcome was better than I could wish for. 4/15/2019 Rochelle Berliner is a 5 star lawyer who excels in some of the most dire situations. I have used her for two of my cases and the outcomes were extremely positive. Facing a desperate situation where I was in need of changing attorneys, I went out to seek a criminal defense attorney. In a span of a week, I met with several attorneys all over the NYC area. After a long search I made an appointment to meet with Rochelle Berliner. Rochelle and her associate Ami Kim were knowledgeable, compassionate, patient, and extremely honest. Unlike most attorneys who narrow their free consultation time to 30-40 minutes, Rochelle gave me all the hours and minutes needed to explain every detail of my case and concerns that I had. I knew the right move for me was to replace my current attorney with the team of Rochelle Berliner and Ami Kim . Facing the possibility of having a criminal record and losing my license as a teacher, I was extremely stressed. Rochelle gave me her personal phone number so I could reach out after office hours. My questions and concerns were always addressed in a timely fashion day or night. Strategy was addressed openly with my input. Ultimately my dire situation turned out in the end to be a very positive experience and as a result I am back in the classroom today without issue. Don't go here if you care about your future in this country. They are only interested in your money. Went to them in 2018, when I was having a delay with my case, they promised to help me contact uscis but they didnt, I called their office a thousand times just to get my address changed with uscis but I kept receiving a rude response. I had to change to another lawyer out of frustration. Please, please just look for a lawyer that genuinely want to help you, not these people

I would give 1 star if I could. If you are being advised to apply for the "10 year law" or "political asylum". Please do your research before anything. I have consulted with multiple attorneys and have been advised that the procedure used for my mom's case was the wrong way to go and if anything made it much more difficult for her case to ever be approved. Besides this, let me mention to you the 2 times my mother had to show up in court with legal counsel. First time, they sent an inexperienced paralegal who was just filling out paperwork (that was supposed to be filled out in advance) while waiting at the court. She spent the entire time on her phone online shopping. In addition, the judge mentioned the package was incomplete and that she was giving my mom another chance due to the fact that it was the attorney's office fault. Forward a year later, we had another court appointment. They sent another paralegal 4 hours late (and I had to call so they can send someone last minute) who knew nothing about the case. He could barely express himself well in front of the judge. This time, the judge mentioned that they were supposed to have done fingerprints. She verified that the notice was sent to the attorney office twice. However, my mother was never informed of this. The judge (same judge) again mentioned that this was the attorney's office fault and gave an ultimatum that if things are not done according to procedure once again, she will just place my mother's in removal proceedings. I showed up to this attorney office in person and spoke about this to the manager and paralegals, they promised to monitor the case and they re-assigned to a new paralegal. 1 month later, this new paralegal didn't even know who we were. She could not locate our docs and didn't even remember the 2 hours we spent at the office. There aren't any words to express the frustration I have towards this entire office and law team. Worst part is that not even the manager or head attorney feels like something needs to be done about this. They will gladly sign case release paperwork. Of course, after having taken about 10k from my mother. If I had the energy and resources to take this to legal action, I would definitely do so. Anyway, I truly hope that anyone who reads this thinks twice before trusting this law firm.

I'm going to start this review off by saying that I absolutely love when I can work with someone who can function with minimal communication - AKA someone who can get the job DONE without me having to come into an office and make appointments, etc. I contacted Michael Paul when I got a bunch of tickets in one year (it was a bad year) - he told me he would handle them and that's exactly what he did. He's handling three tickets for me and so far one has been dismissed and I have not had to do one single thing to assist him in the process. He took care of EVERYTHING. Here's to hoping the other two go away as well! 10/10 recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not one for writing reviews BUT after getting arrested I needed to find a good lawyer who can speak on my behalf. I didn’t have any prior connections to any lawyers so I came here to Michael Paul’s office and the experience was AMAZING. From the minute you enter you feel as though you are with family. Mr. Paul is Professional, Confident, and very welcoming. With my first ever DAT I received, I was traumatized. I called Michael on the phone explaining everything that happened and he knew I was anxious. The first thing he did was to calm me down before we even became official . That’s when I knew I trusted him from the start. Eventually he had a game plan to get the best offer from the District Attorney and stuck with it the whole way through.
