I believe the intake officers name is Jane. She was not very helpful to either my husband nor the law firm she works for. She sounded like she was integrating my husband instead of taking down notes and passing the info down to the a real lawyer. We’ve asked questions before to other secretaries at other firms and they’ve always told us that they can’t answer anything they can only pass information and get back to us. Yet this lady was putting her input and even asking why we were calling them if we live 55 min away. Like is she serious?? I would understand if it was in another state. We used other lawyers in the past for other issues who were even farther and everything was done over the phone, faxed, and check was mailed. I was referred to Michael Damaso and his firm the middle of January 2021 after a terrible car accident that left me injured and confused at the hands of a driver who "didnt feel like stopping" at a red light. After bouncing around with another large law firm for a few terrible weeks I was extremely impressed from the minute I called Tina Willis Law. They have a small team of people, with very impressive legal backgrounds, experience, and success, who excel at the most serious injury and death cases. I think that's because of how much attention to detail they put into their case preparation. After fearing for my life during a terrifying auto accident with a semtruck and dealing with lots of medical treatment, including multiple surgeries, which I never expected to need, I very much appreciated their care and concern about my well being, and their constant focus on maximizing my case value. They started by explaining what I needed to do in terms of ongoing medical care, and they gathered other evidence needed to prove that I wasn't at fault, and how much my injuries changed my life, which was in many ways. Then they kept me informed every step of the way. I always knew what was happening in my case, which gave me a sense of control. Their entire staff was very responsive and gave me their cell numbers for calling or texting whenever I had questions. They usually replied immediately, or within a few hours max. We came to this law office for help with an appearance only for a disability hearing. I had done all of the paperwork while living in NY. After having to relocate to FL, we had the case transferred to FL also. Again after doing ALL of the work on my own, we turned to this office for an appearance only on the case. The case was awarded and we were charged $6k for it. When we contacted the office to question the fee and I was told the attorney wasn’t there, I believe was out due to surgery or something (honestly not sure of the reason) and there was nothing they would do. We feel we were robbed of an easy $6k from this office. There is no way they deserved that much more or put that much time into it. I did all of the work. Due to circumstances under the rules, there was/is no recourse. Typical attorney out for the most money. I can say this because I’ve been in the profession for over 20 years, I’ve seen it all. If I could reduce to zero stars I would. Think twice.

I hired him because I was looking for a mid to low cost lawyer to help me with my case. I talked to him twice before court I felt like he was in a rush every time we talked. But he said the case was a easy win, the morning of court he showed up just in time no time to talk before court his hair was a mess. Very unprofessional! It looked like his facial hair wasn’t cut or trimmed in weeks. He was unprepared Next time I will make sure I read more reviews and take more time.
