Great lawyer! I hired Mr. Joe Tacopina as my personal injury lawyer because I sustained a major injury at work. I paid $250 to discuss my case and spoke to a female name Marissa I think and she said that they could take my case and to think about it so I did. She called back like 5 days later asking me if I made up my mind and I said I needed to rule out some other possibilities. So I did that and when I called back the following week they initially answered the phone but the guy that did acted hesitant and I asked for the lady to call me back about the case. No one ever did. I called them and they picked up the phone and hung up and I thought it was an accident so I called again and they did the same thing. So very rude, not professional and not responsive after I had paid them.

I initially hired another law firm to handle my case. I found myself constantly calling them for updates and they never had any answers. JK was amazing from start to finish. My husband was falsely accused in a criminal case and JK provided amazing advice and fought for my husband every step of the way. The victims statement was eventually recanted and JK's counsel on what my husbands rights were was always on point. I was visiting in New York this past July and was arrested at LaGuardia for carrying a stun gun of all things. We are allowed to carry in Florida and I forgot it was in my purse. Any attorney can research the law, write a brief, and call themselves an Appellate Attorney, Scott Horn is so much more. He thinks through issues, and works with you to win your case. Whatismore, he will turn away work if he thinks the issue is not ripe for an appeal. In my 30+ years of practice Scott Horn has been very successful representing my office as Appellate Counsel on a variety of matters. He has taken complicated, convoluted records and clarified them through his self initiated visits to the County Clerk, a task not normally undertaken by an Appellate Lawyer.
