When I began my journey through my malpractice case I certainly wasn’t prepared for what lied ahead - Adam Cahn and his team (especially Kim) always had my back and always told me the truth. I am so very grateful for all that he did and truly a “stand up” guy - his boys may not see it now but I can assure him that he is a great power of example in his work ethic, professionalism and empathy. I initially hired another law firm to handle my case. I found myself constantly calling them for updates and they never had any answers. After two years I switched law firms and hired Sakkas, Cahn and Weiss. They explained the process clearly, called me with updates and settled my case in less than six months. My brother had a case and switched as well. He also loves them. Let me start by saying I was hit by someone else's material falling from above on a construction site. From the moment I started dealing with David Hoffman I knew I was in good hands. He went above and beyond on even the smallest detail. Joseph Stoduto and the Wingate Russotti sharpin law firm are the best law firm in New York City I put my word as a man on this , I needed a spinal fusion and was in pain but was scared to go through with it , Joseph went above and beyond his duty as a lawyer and called me in the middle of the night to console me tell me he understood and assure me I’ll be okay , I got the surgery and feel great! Lance is a great guy. I have hired him for his help in three different cases dating back to 2012. In my most recent case this past year, he hit a home run in the courtroom and had my DUI case dismissed. I can't explain what a great day that was for me. Mr.Fletcher is the TRUTH. He is calm, collected, honest and very knowledgeable. This was my first time getting into trouble so having to go to court new for me and honestly pretty scary. I paid $250 to discuss my case and spoke to a female name Marissa I think and she said that they could take my case and to think about it so I did. She called back like 5 days later asking me if I made up my mind and I said I needed to rule out some other possibilities. So I did that and when I called back the following week they initially answered the phone but the guy that did acted hesitant and I asked for the lady to call me back about the case. No one ever did. I called them and they picked up the phone and hung up and I thought it was an accident so I called again and they did the same thing. So very rude, not professional and not responsive after I had paid them.

Any encounter with the law brings major perturbation and can greatly change the path of your life. With me just graduating college my anxiety was through the roof. I found this Law Firm on Google and based on the reviews that people posted decided to proceed with them. I was so glad to have picked them and work with them. The overall experience with them was great. Since my process started, my case was assigned to Ms. Abigail Miller. She was extremely helpful, explained the whole process in detail. My case was really sensitive, and she helped me throughout the process ensuring it remained discreet and confidential. Her outstanding traits were that she was very responsive (via email & portal) and empathetic. As a girl, I felt extremely comfortable sharing confidential details with her and asking which options to take. Since it wasn’t an easy case, she was super helpful in arranging a processor server and helping with all the logistics. During the entire process, Abigail and Todd had good communication amongst their team and the prices they stated were constant and transparent. There were no hidden costs and while talking to them I never felt they were money centric or forcing me to pay upfront before getting the process started. They genuinely wanted to make sure the case went in my favor. I was very comfortable with this law firm and i'm really grateful to have found them. I, unfortunately, can't say how sweet, caring etc etc they are because if that's the case, it would also come across in the first impression. I called for a consultation and advice on a situation I'm trying to deal with, and the response was really rude, and didn't expect for them to abruptly hangup on me. That's not something you want to do when someone, especially frantic and nervous, is trying to get advice on how to clear their name from potential charges.

Ali took my case over midway through. The original attorney I retained left me hanging and took my money. Kristen was absolutely phenomenal. I have never had to use a lawyer before and with all the options in NYC, its tough knowing if you have the right one. After consulting with other attorneys, I chose to retain Julie for a criminal case last March. My experience is very much in line with the other 5-star reviews. She is transparent, compassionate, and very knowledgeable about the process. I felt that she and her colleague Kristen were immediately responsive and started working on the case as soon as possible. I had a personal line to both attorneys and could reach them 24/7/365, no matter the time, through text/call or e-mail. Julie is not hard to look up, so if you are are nervous about retaining her services, do your research online first. The attorney I met at my consultation was beyond what I expected. I feel I received the best outcome possible, and thanks to her suggestions, unfortunately or fortunately, have also received positive benefits in my personal life. If you want someone who pays attention to detail, is honest, responsive, experienced, sets realistic expectations, works diligently and remains available, whether it is Julie or Kristen, you will find that here. I encourage you to ask any and every question you have, I was always satisfied by their honest and useful responses. I will add, I didn't realize how much a client's part can play in these matters. Please do keep that in mind that when retaining counsel it is not "set it and forget it". You must actively participate in your own defense. I am a finance professional and green card holder. I was charged with theft of service (taxicab) on two separate occasions (the second instance had an assault charge thrown into the mix as well). In both cases I knew I was not guilty, but was an anxious mess nonetheless having had no prior experience with the law and fearing the possibility of deportation. To compound matters, in both instances I had to travel across the border several times while the case was still open. Matthew was very gracious about dealing with my anxiety and was always available to discuss my case. He is clearly passionate about what he does and about fighting for his clients. He has a confidence about him where you just know you're in great hands. He's a great lawyer, but a really good person as well! He is a down to earth and is very understanding of your situation. In both cases he got me the result I needed and my border crossings went smoothly due to the letters he wrote for me and immigration lawyers he proactively consulted with to weigh in on my situation. I cannot express enough how much I would recommend him for any legal need! In particular for those -like myself -who are not US citizens. A total class act.

Mr. Galluzzo and his team at G&J are absolutely one of the best at what they do. The work tirelessly at getting the best possible result for the case at hand and they truly care about their clients. Galluzzo and his team were able to overturn and vacate my guilty plea, then taking a big risk where I could have faced a large amount of time in prison Galluzzo took my case to trial. He walked in there with the confidence and swagger as if he already knew everything would work out for me, he laid out every single fact and hole in the prosecutions case to the jury and came away with a full acquittal on every charge after just one hour of deliberations. I hired Mr. Galluzzo to represent me in a criminal case in Federal Court and he did a fantastic job from beginning to end! He assessed my case accurately, charged me a fair fee, always communicated with me promptly and worked very hard for me, until I was acquitted after a 4-day Jury trial. Originally after being arrested I rushed and hired a different attorney who was not advancing my case properly and was making obvious mistakes, in my opinion. After I paid this other attorney in full I was forced to fire him anyway and he would not even give me back my file. I was so fortunate to find Mr. Galluzzo, a great attorney, who took over my case, was very patient and understanding, he retrieved the necessary documents from the court and worked out a great winning defense strategy for me.
