I am a finance professional and green card holder. I was charged with theft of service (taxicab) on two separate occasions (the second instance had an assault charge thrown into the mix as well). In both cases I knew I was not guilty, but was an anxious mess nonetheless having had no prior experience with the law and fearing the possibility of deportation. To compound matters, in both instances I had to travel across the border several times while the case was still open. Matthew was very gracious about dealing with my anxiety and was always available to discuss my case. He is clearly passionate about what he does and about fighting for his clients. He has a confidence about him where you just know you're in great hands. He's a great lawyer, but a really good person as well! He is a down to earth and is very understanding of your situation. In both cases he got me the result I needed and my border crossings went smoothly due to the letters he wrote for me and immigration lawyers he proactively consulted with to weigh in on my situation. I cannot express enough how much I would recommend him for any legal need! In particular for those -like myself -who are not US citizens. A total class act.

Mr. Galluzzo and his team at G&J are absolutely one of the best at what they do. The work tirelessly at getting the best possible result for the case at hand and they truly care about their clients. Galluzzo and his team were able to overturn and vacate my guilty plea, then taking a big risk where I could have faced a large amount of time in prison Galluzzo took my case to trial. He walked in there with the confidence and swagger as if he already knew everything would work out for me, he laid out every single fact and hole in the prosecutions case to the jury and came away with a full acquittal on every charge after just one hour of deliberations. I hired Mr. Galluzzo to represent me in a criminal case in Federal Court and he did a fantastic job from beginning to end! He assessed my case accurately, charged me a fair fee, always communicated with me promptly and worked very hard for me, until I was acquitted after a 4-day Jury trial. Originally after being arrested I rushed and hired a different attorney who was not advancing my case properly and was making obvious mistakes, in my opinion. After I paid this other attorney in full I was forced to fire him anyway and he would not even give me back my file. I was so fortunate to find Mr. Galluzzo, a great attorney, who took over my case, was very patient and understanding, he retrieved the necessary documents from the court and worked out a great winning defense strategy for me. I, unfortunately, can't say how sweet, caring etc etc they are because if that's the case, it would also come across in the first impression. I called for a consultation and advice on a situation I'm trying to deal with, and the response was really rude, and didn't expect for them to abruptly hangup on me. That's not something you want to do when someone, especially frantic and nervous, is trying to get advice on how to clear their name from potential charges.

Craig Trainor has been representing me in New York County Criminal Court for over two years. The way he handled my case was excellent. It is hard not to notice that Craig has a real passion for law and enjoys litigation work and fighting the government at every turn to protect my interests. He is very knowledgeable and experienced lawyer who would not settle for any District Attorney offer that tried to railroad me but rather fought for my rights. When we went to trial, he was not at all discouraged by the judge who indirectly suggested that I should plead guilty before the trial started. In spite of that, Craig told me it was always my choice about what to do about a plea bargain but he advised we should proceed to trial, and he actually won the case! Instead of a high chance to get convicted of serious criminal offense, I walked out of the court room with an insignificant traffic violation...only because phenomenal work by Mr. Trainor. He is so dedicated to what he does that he always patiently answered my girlfriend's multiple questions about the law. He was always happy to assist her legal curiosity and even printed out some statutes and case law for her to review related to the charges against me. If you need a criminal defense or civil rights attorney, you should definitely hire Mr. Trainor. When my daughter Grace was seven years old she was playing on the playground and fell off the monkey bars. The grounds were not maintained which made it difficult to land without injuring herself. Craig Trainor represented me in Manhattan criminal court when I was falsely arrested for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. My friends and I were causing no trouble, when a police captain approached us and asked us for ID (which I did not have on me). Instead of looking us up, we were arrested and charged with a crime. I spent 16 hours in police custody with absolutely no valid justification. Before meeting Craig, I thought that no one would believe me and that something this unjustified could never happen. However, Craig believed every word I said, and I knew he would fight for me from the very beginning. He explained that this sort of thing happened much more than the general public was aware. When the FBI came to my door, I had no idea what was going on or what to do. I spent the morning calling lawyers in my area who dealt with cybercrime. 2020 was a rough year for everyone. But for me it was even further burdened with my first arrest and being charged with multiple felonies. Thankfully I found my amazing lawyer, Mehdi. From our first sit down I knew I was in good hands. This man literally (and metaphorically) held my hand through almost a year of court appearances, charges, and eventually my plea deal. He told me one Day 1 that the best case scenarip would be a Disorderly Conduct but it would be a long and hard road to try to get that. Word to the wise: do NOT admit all your guilt at time of arrest! Somehow this magical lawyer did it, he got a plea for Disorderly Conduct! He worked tirelessly and hard for it. He calmed my anxiety and called me to give me updates as soon as he got them. Even though I know he had other clients, I very much felt like a priority. I was heard and understood. I can not express enough gratitude and thanks to Mehdi for, honestly, saving my life. Going through a criminal charge is very stressful and very scary. But Mehdi not only helped me but made me happy. If you are ever in need of lawyer that is not only honest and thorough but also remarkable at what he does, George is your guy. What normally would have taken over a year to wrap up, my case took a little over 6 months.
